The Lephet or pickled tea, king of leaves as mango is king of fruits in Burmese lore.

Lephet is liberally marinated in sesame or groundnut oil and is served in accompaniment with a variety of peas and beans as condiments, round sliced garlic deep fried to a crisp golden hue, fried peanuts, sesame seeds, and wide range of peas, native in origin and grown on our fertile plains.

It goes well with local green tea, the unique delicacy of Burma that we offer to guests and for loved ones at home.
