Welcome To Myanmar

Mingalarbar from Myanmar. My name is Cho Cho Lwin and I am the Managing Director of Tamarind Travel.

Tamarind was created to fill a niche-to provide all of your travel needs in Myanmar, so that the only thing occupying your mind is the anticipation of the magnificent sites you will experience the following day. We have hand selected your itineraries, accommodations, guides, and dining establishments so that you can be assured that you are experiencing Burma without compromise.

If you are looking for a “cookie cutter” tour program, where dozens of people are stuck on a tour bus, at the whim of the tour group, then Tamarind will not be for you. However, if you prefer a private guided tour where quality vice quantity and attention to detail is paramount, then please take a look at our carefully prepared programs. We are certain you will not be disappointed with Tamarind.

If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail us at tamarindtrvl@myanmar.com.mm

See you Soon...!
Cho Cho Lwin

Myanmar Mango
The Myanmar Mango is the most popular fruit in our tropical land. It is grown throughout the entire country. The mango season begins after the monsoon rains in November. One of the sweetest and juiciest mango grown in Burma is called the sein ta lone “single diamond”. The texture of the single diamond mango is soft, and the flesh of this delicacy will melt in your mouth.
