Summary : The trekking extension 3 days can be done before visiting to Inle Lake. We may reroute the trek to be shorten if you prefer 1 Night 2 Days or a same day return trek.
Day 1:   Arrive to Kalaw

Upon arrival at Heho Airport, we will take a 2 hours scenic drive to Kalaw, at 4300 ft. (1440 meters) above sea level. Kalaw also was once a favorite hill station for British administrative officials and a summer resort for their family during the hot season. A peaceful town surrounded by pine forests, it is home to the Palaung, Pa-O, Taung-Yo, and Dha Nu hill tribes of the Shan ethnic group. On arrival in Kalaw, you will visit the local market to see a variety of local produce such as flowers, fruits, vegetables and tea. Then stop by Nge Paya which is a glorious Buddha image made by thin bamboo strips lacquered over 500 years ago. Return back to your hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 2:   Kalaw – trekking

First Day –a 6 hours trek (passing through Palaung, Danu tribe villages)

Start hiking from Kalaw in the morning. It takes us for 2.5 hours through small tea-leaf and cheroot-leaf plantations, arrive at Ywar Thit village of Danu people. Then proceed 30 minutes more to Tar Yaw village of Palaung people. Tar Yaw village, Palaung people live its long houses of old style Palaung tribe. An another 30 minutes hike to a view point for lunch.

Afternoon, you will hike about 3 hours to Pyin Thar village (Danu tribe) which is the final stop for today, stopping on the way to visit two villages at Hinnkhargon and Myindike. Overnight at Pyin Thar village in a local house or monastery.

Day 3:   Trekking – Pyin Thar to Htee Thein Village

Second Day: a 6 hours trek (Passing Danu, Pao tribe home)

After a simple breakfast, hike about 3 hours to Konlon Village (Danu tribe). Along the way, we will visit villages of the Pao tribe at Lupyin, Lamine, Nanoae and Pawkae.

Have a local lunch at Konhla village, hike about 3 hours to Puttupuck Village and arriving at Htee Thein Village where we will spend the night. Overnight at Htetthein village in a monastery.

Day 4:   Trekking and reach to Indein

Third Day: a 4 hours hike (passing Pao, Inthar home)

This morning, start your 4 hour hike towards Indein, located on the banks of Inle Lake. We will stop at villages of Kyoutsu, Nanyoke, Taungkamauk and finally arriving at Indein jetty by 11 AM. A boat will waiting for us to transfer to Nyaung Shwe Jetty to take flight to your further destination such as Mandalay or Bagan or Yangon. Or Transfer to your hotel to visit in Inle Lake.
